Having my hair cut.

This morning I had my hair cut. As usual I told the person cutting my hair "My needs are simple - no2 clippers please"

I have to admit that it had been a few weeks since my last hair cut so it was getting somewhat unkempt. However, I do have deeper reason for getting my hair cut on a regular basis. I'm 52 and my hair is receding and I am somewhat thin on top. I have decided to accept this situation, there is nothing I can do about it, I have to live with it. What I don't want to happen is to be like some men of my age, who are in a similar situation to myself. who let their hair grow long and end up with pony tails. Frankly, they look ridiculous and should know better. They are a constant reminder to me of keeping my hair short.

My husband is 52 & has hardly any hair & he keeps shearing the boys! I'd quite like to see if the boys had curls or not! Can you update to my new blog? I seem to have lost you along the way!

Hello, Fr. P

Always wondered why we "girls" don't have the same problem.....?

God bless

Well done, I couldn't agree more. There's nothing worse than a chap who's going thin on top trying to compensate by letting his hair grow longer around the edges! The only thing worse than that IMHO is the 'comb over' (a la Arthur Skargill) which thankfully seems to be dying a death :0)

Ah well, offer it up. Nothing worse than a man with a "comb over" in a windstorm.

:-D BTW, women are blessed by not having this problem because we have an extra layer of fat on the top of our heads that men don't. So if you call a woman a "fathead" --- you're right. :-D Just don't do it when we can hear you!
